Remember the constantly-played song “Hey There Delilah?” You may not have known the artists, chances are you heard it somewhere. The Plain White T's are in Vancouver to play songs  from their new CD Big Bad World, with guests the Februarys opening. Vancouver Fashion Week

VFW is known as “the West Coast's most prestigious industry event”, bringing together established and new designers. Events include eco-fashion, winter wear, streetwear shows, both local and international designers, as well as elegant galas, designer meet and greet and more.

Fashion vs. Rock will be taking place on Sunday, March 29 at Storeyum, hosted by The Hour's George Stroumboulopoulos. Special DJ performances by guests like Justin Peroff and Brendan Canning of Broken Social Scene, Eon Sinclair of Bedouin Soundclash, and James Hall of Sam Roberts, along with special guests My!Gay!Husband!, Trevor Risk and Blondtron & Kay. Limited tickets are available at gettickets.ca, and all donations will go to the David Suzuki Foundation.

Wednesday, March 25, 2009 – Moving Green Into The Mainstream

Learn more about green initiatives in the mainstream from Barbra Batshalom, the founder of the Green Roundtable, an independent nonprofit that is involved in various areas of sustainable development.
