What do you want to do with your life? Find out what career is right for you and find a great job. Visit the VCC Career Fair at Vancouver Community College's 1155 East Broadway campus. This free fair will provide job hunters with hundreds of career options. Meet employers like the  Certified General Accountants Association, Fraser Health Authority, BC Ferries, Cara Airline Solutions, Canada Safeway and Sun Life Financial. The event is from 10 am to 3 pm.

Thursday, May 21, 2009 –  Fat Pig

See Neil LaBute's hit comedy Fat Pig, a humorous look at the life and love of Tom. He's successful at work, has some terrific friends and a new girlfriend. However, when his office friends and ex-girlfriend find out he's seeing a ‘plus–size,’ their shallowness makes Tom wonder if bigger really is better. The show runs until May 30 and stars Kathryn Kirkpatrick (Helen), Aaron Craven (Carter), Jennifer Mawhinney (Jeannie), and Lawrence Haegert (Tom). Enjoy the freshness of the Vancouver Farmers Markets this summer. Every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday until Oct. 25, come out and find dairy products, meats, seafood and a bounty of seasonal fruits and vegetables. Sunday, May 24, 2009 – Ysaf Ghani Showcase

The Canadian Comparative Fine Art Center in Richmond is hosting a free, two-day event to showcase Yusof Ghani's Wajah collection. Ghani is a Malaysian modern expressionist born in 1950, and one of the country's leading modern artists. He has exhibited his work all around the world, and his pieces are coveted by both local and international collectors. The Canadian Comparative Fine Art Center is located at 130-2981 Simpson Road, and showings are May 23 and 24 from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm.
