Monday, June 22, 2009 – The Tragically Hip

Tuesday, June 23, 2009 – BC Lions vs. Edmonton Eskimos

Wednesday, June 24, 2009 – Canadian Carnage – Megadeth and Slayer

Thursday, June 25, 2009 –   BBQ in the Park for Brain Injury Awareness and Prevention

Howe Sound Rehabilitation Services Society proudly presents their 3rd Annual  BBQ in the Park for Brain Injury Awareness and Prevention, in conjunction with June being BC's Brain Injury Awareness Month. The fun starts at 11:00 am and goes until 3:00 pm at Blue Mountain Park (975 King Albert Avenue) in Coquitlam. Enjoy live musical entertainment, food and refreshment, information booths, raffle prizes, and lots of free activities for the kids. All are welcome, and the event is free to attend.

Friday, June 26, 2009 – Beer And Bbq

It's June, so let's post another BBQ event, but not only BBQ - beer! From 7 - 10 pm, sample a four course meal from the House of Q barbecue team, and four beers from Granville Island Brewery, for $55. See website for details.

Saturday, June 27, 2009 – World Famous Lippizzaner Stallions

The Lippizzaner Stallions are in Vancouver on their 39th Anniversary Tour. A unique and rare breed from Europe, these horses perform amazing leaps and manouevres, all choreographed with an emphasis on the historical background and music of the time. It's been described as "equine ballets," with 12-14 stallions and costumed riders performing perfectly timed moves. Get tickets to see the Lipizzaner Stallions.

Sunday, June 28, 2009 – Portobello West

Last year's Portobello West was a great success, and this year promises to be a fabulous showcase of over 110 local designers and artists. Find unique art pieces and apparel, and admission is just $2. The show runs from 12-6 pm at Rocky Mountaineer Vancouver Station ( 1755 Cottrell). More info: Portobello West.
