Schools

Primary and Secondary School

Schools are generally divided into two categories: Primary which encompasses kindergarten to grade seven; and Secondary for grades eight through twelve. In British Columbia the public school system is the responsibility of the provincial government. Based on geographic location, schools are grouped into school districts and administered by elected School Boards.

The Fraser Institute, a non-profit research and educational organization collects a variety of relevant, objective indicators of school performance. The results for Primary and Secondary schools are provided in the following reports.
