  • Pavel Bure - 1991-1998

  • Pavel Bure - Vancouver Canucks
No player brought more attention or excitement to the Vancouver Canucks than Pavel Bure. An electrifying player, "The Russian Rocket" speedily became a pleasure to watch and his consecutive 60-goal seasons in the early '90s made him an instant legend. We won't talk about Pavel's dubious ties to Russian mobsters, will we?

  • Trevor Linden - 1988-197, 2001-2008

  • Trevor Linden - Vancouver Canucks
Linden represents what it means to be a Canuck. Sportsmanlike, skilled and dedicated, he holds many team records including most games played and most goals scored. Respectably, it is also Linden's community and charity work off the ice that has made him such a beloved Canuck.

  • Kirk McLean - 1988-1997, 2001-2008

  • Kirk McLean - Vancouver Canucks
McLean's stand-up netminding skills were a staple that bound the Canucks of the early '90s together. The team's run to the Stanley Cup finals in 1994 was highlighted by stacked-pad saves by McLean that will remain imprinted on the brains of Canucks' fans for eternity. We are still catching our breath. Seriously.

  • Jyrki Lumme - 1989-1998, 2001-2008

  • Jyrki Lumme - Vancouver Canucks
Quiet but deadly, Lumme consistently proved to be the top offensive defenseman on the Canucks team during his tenure. A deft shot was matched by his ability to rush the net. Simply, he was a dependable player, a trait not every Canuck had or has.

  • Gino Odjick - 1990-1998

  • Gino Odjick - Vancouver Canucks
Like Tiger Williams before him, Gino made a name for himself as a bruiser. But let's not pull punches, unlike Tiger, "The Algonquin Assassin" wasn't exactly known for his ability to put the puck in the net. Fans would lovingly chant, "Gi-no! Gi-no!" whenever he delivered a big bodycheck and his dedication to his friends (read: punching opponents in the face on behalf of teammates) made him an ultimate team player.

  • Dave Babych's moustache - 1991-1998

  • Dave Babych's moustache - Vancouver Canucks
Babych's 'stache was the cause of many a-distractions for opposing players. Full-bodied and dark, it clung to his upper lip with wild abandon, surely aggravating its owner to deliver solid checking and big hits. In the history of Canuck moustaches, it is simply the best.
